GRAND ISLAND (February 09, 2026) – On Saturday, February 14, local and statewide Pro-Life groups will host Governor Jim Pillen, area State Senators, and hundreds of constituents for a morning program to address vital Pro-Life legislation in Nebraska. The 7th Annual Pro-Life Coffee will take place on Saturday, February 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. at the Riverside Golf Club. This event is free and open to the public.
Area Senators attending will be Dan Quick (Grand Island), Dan Lonowski (Hastings), Dave Murman (Glenvil), Fred Meyer (St. Paul) and Loren Lippincott (Central City). Human Dignity bills in the current session of the Nebraska Legislature will be discussed: LB213-Develop standards for teaching basic human development in high schools; LB512-Require abortion facilities to screen for ectopic pregnancies and set-up follow-up appointments; and LB632-Forbid abortion facilities from treating the bodies of unborn children as medical waste.
