Ingredients
2 pounds country-style hash browns
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup diced onion
½ cup butter
1 small can of cream of chicken soup
16 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup milk
2 cups cornflakes, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
Pimentos (optional)
Instructions:
· Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix hash browns, cheese, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
· Heat butter, soup, sour cream and milk in a saucepan until butter is melted.
· Mix sauce into hash browns and place in a greased 9” x 13” baking dish.
· Top with crushed cornflakes and drizzle with melted butter.
· Bake for 1 hour.
