The last few months, I’ve been given this beautiful desire to pray, specifically the desire to pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament.

“Around October 2017, I began having recurring dreams. In this dream, I found myself face down in front of the altar at St. Mary's Cathedral, dressed in white.”

I was born in the Dominican Republic and I am the fourth of five siblings. At the age of 21, I emigrated to the United States to study and seek a better future.

Nearly 100 youth from across the diocese converged upon Camp Maranatha near Maxwell, Nebraska for the Extreme Faith Middle School Retreat. The annual program is sponsored by the Diocese of Grand Island's Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.
